So sorry to hear about your Dad Sue, and Joyce I hope your hubby gets better soon. My daughter was diagnosed with Diabetes in Nov. and it is type 2 so she is having to take a shot every day. That is less than it was at first. The Dr. thinks she can stop having to do the shots if she keeps her diet and exercise up.

Tennye, this is a new year. Lets hope you have left all the unpleasant stuff in the previous year and get off to a better start. I hope 2010 is so much better for you and your family than 2009 was.Good Luck only, and all the best

Glad they finally got done, my resolution for this year is to squeeze in some 'me' time. If I can remember my password I'm going to try and pop on at lunchtime(it's set so the computer at home remembers me). The school now has free internet, -Dept of Ed is paying, so I won't feel so guilty, AND I hopefully will get a bit of spare time as I'll be a bit quicker now I've learned a bit. If anyone didn't get there's please let me know, I took the addresses away with me to the island and posted them there, so I hope everyone's was up to date. Just know that even though I haven't posted much last year, you were all still in my thoughts.

Marilyn, I finally had a big clean up and found the card you sent with your block, so the mystery is solved, the block was yours.
Jean, thankyou I have received your block, blends in perfectly.
Pat, yours has not arrive yet but mine to you took an eternity, slow boat to Australia I think.
Cheers Joyce

It has been over a month, but I think yours took about 5 or weeks. And they tell me at the post office that nothing goes by boat any more that even if you don't pay air mail, it still goes on a plane. Of course they don't tell you where the plane goes.
But if it doesn't get there by the end of February after my holiday we will presume it lost and make another. Since I have no idea what pattern I made it will be another surprise.

I received Debra's block when I got home from holiday and now have all of my blocks. They are all so beautiful. Now I need to find time to make them into a quilt. I will try to post a picture of them all for you to see if I can't get them put together within the next week or two.

A HUGE THANKS to EVERYONE for the effort and love and creativity and willingness to participate throughout all of our stressfull and trauma filled year. Lets hope this year is a little better on all of us.

Your current web browser must be updated to version 7 of Internet Explorer (IE7) to take advantage of all of template's capabilities.

Why should I upgrade to Internet Explorer 7? Microsoft has redesigned Internet Explorer from the ground up, with better security, new capabilities, and a whole new interface. Many changes resulted from the feedback of millions of users who tested prerelease versions of the new browser. The most compelling reason to upgrade is the improved security. The Internet of today is not the Internet of five years ago. There are dangers that simply didn't exist back in 2001, when Internet Explorer 6 was released to the world. Internet Explorer 7 makes surfing the web fundamentally safer by offering greater protection against viruses, spyware, and other online risks.
