I'm just over the moon by the response to our new quilting membership site!!

I have had many many email full of positive feedback, which is awesome... Especially after all the work that has gone into creating the Creative Quilting Club.. Connecting to so many quilters from around the world is fabulous. The future is very promising for our new club!

Now, a few people have emailed to say they are on the look out for simple quilting information, just to get them started.. If you go to the "my content" link (Bronze and above) you'll find a little ebook called "Quilting - the Bare Basics".. This little book is just that - the bare basics!! But if you need a place to start, go get it and down load it. Please forgive any spelling and grammatical errors, I put it together in a rush and just haven't had time to give it a thorough proof read yet Smile

Keep your emails coming, I love getting them.

New Quilt on it way Smile | Print |

I have just got back from videoing another baby quilt being made..

This time we are creating a baby girls creative quilt.. Little Amy was born a couple of months ago and her quilt is a little over due.. We only have the boarders and backing to do now.. The day was spent sewing things to the quilt.. The quilt has a mermaid theme - I will put a couple of pictures up in the gallery so you can see our progress..

We are hoping to finish the quilt in the next two weeks.. I will then edit the video, add audio and put it up in the Creative Quilting Clubs silver section..

I'd have to say this baby quilt is stunning and I'm not surprised it is to be hung in the babies room instead of being in the cot Smile

Six hundred visitors in less than 24 hours | Print |

It's Xmas and I'm amazed!

There has been over 600 visitors to this site in the last 24 hours from 14 countries . That's amazing!

Whats more amazing is that over 200 of the visitors have registered. That's Fantastic!

I'm looking forward to chatting and getting to know all the member during 2007.

Till then have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

A photo gallery is on its way.

Hopefully today. My husband is working on it as we speak.

I think it will be a great place where we can post photos of quilts we are working on. Perhaps you have quilts you would like to show off.

Here's you opportunity. 

It will be a great place to trade ideas and open up dialog. Taking photos of your quilts is also a great way to promote them. Hopefully we will all be able to help each other with presentation ideas, photo techniques and lighting techniques to get the best photos of our quilts.
