Just a quick note to let you know the site that runs the world map here is down..

Which means for the last couple of days we have been unable to see how many quilters have been visiting us..
At last count (on Monday) is was approaching 18,000 from 36 countries..

Well hopefully this is just one of those technical difficulties and it'll be back up soon!!

I love looking at it in wonder at the numbers and the countries quilters have come from

Hi all,

Sorry I have been so quiet, it is school holidays here in Australia which means the kids are keeping me very busy - we have 5 children, aged 3 to 15 years old!

I have been trying to finish the baby girl (Amy) quilt video editing (what a mouthful), but its taking a little longer than I had hoped.. We should have it up for every one who is silver and above (invite 3 people) in the next couple of weeks. The video is looking awesome, go and check out the photos in the gallery

We are also planning to add a forum shortly so we can all share a little more...

The quilting club now has over 1000 members - and we have only been open for 4 weeks!!! Wow..

This is just a quick up date on the new baby quilt.. As I told you it is finished, BUT the biggest job is yet to be done... EDITING ...
I have discovered that movie editing and children on school holidays really don't mix So I am going to take the Children to the beach camping for a few days, and when we get back I will finish the videos - hopefully the children will have run out of puff by then

However in the mean time, Simon has made a little promo movie of the quilt, I'd love to get your opinions on it (he is rather proud of it) ..

Amy's baby quilt was complete yesterday and hung in her room..

I have captured most of its construction on video and after I edit it and add audio I will put it up in the SILVER and above section.. So if you want to check out how Wendy and I made a baby quilt for her 13th grandchild all you need to do is invite 3 people to our Free quilting club!! (those in Gold and Platinum already will automatically have access )
