Hello to all my Creative Quilting Club friends.. I have some great news...

How would you like to be sent a pattern for a different quilting block every single day?

In just a month you will have 30 different block patterns to call on and inspire you.. In fact in 3 months you will have over 90 block patterns in your repertoire to call on Smile

I have no idea how many block patterns I will be able to give you, but right now I have at least 200 I have collected over the years - many of which I haven't got around to making - so this will be a learning experience for me too Smile

 

Simon and I are uploading them on special pages of their own, so every day you will receive an email with the new block's web address..


What do you need to do to make sure you get all these block patterns? Make sure you are on the Creative Quilting mail list (if you currently get letters from me then all is well Smile) If you have fallen through the cracks then you need to email me at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it , and I' ll fix you up straight away Smile

As you get each email and block, it would be a great idea to start a folder in your email program to save them, then you can come back any time... You will also be able to save the block patterns in PDF format to your computer and/or print them out.. So there will be heaps of methods to store your new blocks, depending on your preference..

If you have any ideas for blocks, I love to hear them, the more the better.. Wouldn't it be great if we could make this the best list of quilting blocks available any where? Smile   I have blocks of varying  difficulty, so there should be some thing for everyone, no matter your level of expertise Smile  


You will start receiving them in your inbox next week (we are just ironing out a few details)... As new people join the club they will start receiving the blocks from about day 7 or 8.. That way new members get a bit of time to become familiar with the club, before the blocks start Smile

I just realized that I didn't post a blog to
remind you that Penny Halgren's e-class (for
anyone who gets Alex Andersen's new book),
closes TODAY..
 
 
I am sorry I really should have posted this
yesterday..
 
I have received a number of letters asking
how I benefit from recommending Penny's

But as you can understand this is not very

We are Back!!! & Bobbi's interview Smile | Print |

Hi Everyone,

Well, Simon and I are back home now and wading through days worth of email! Sorry if it is taking a while to get back to you, be rest assured we will get to you Smile

I am very excited because I have just got off a call with Bobbi, which I recorded and will put up on the site today.. She had some great things to say about her quilting - it was amazing being able to chat to her on the other side of the world.. Technology can be simply fabulous.. She is a very warm lovely person as I'm sure many of you already know from her posts.

You too can get to know Bobbi - our 1st Creative Quilting Club Karma points winner - just head over to the new section under "My Content" , called "Club Interviews", in the user menu..

I wonder who I will be interviewing as the karma point winner for March? Go give away some karma points to some one you think has made a valuable contribution to our forum Smile
