This next movie is my favorite, because you get to meet two lovely ladies..  Pauline is going to show you how to use 3 fabulous appliqué tools in your quilting - I loved them soooo much that I bought them there and then, they are super fun to use and take a lot of the fiddly stuff out of appliqué Smile  The other thing Pauline will tell you about is some amazing quilting DVD's they have produced - high quality step by step projects!..

Finally you get to meet Patsy..  She is actually a quilting MOVIE STAR and a real delight Smile

BIG SORRY !!! | Print |

Hi everyone,

Many of you have been waiting for the "block a day" to start, well I have some good and bad news Smile

Firstly, I did start the block a day late last week, BUT as 'Murphy's Law' would have it things went wrong! We realized that other
things inside the club were not working as a result of the new 'block a day' pages we had to add..

Of course, we didn't find this out until we were walking out the door to take out kids away for Easter!

Basically you may be getting the 'block a day' emails, BUT the links don't work.... yet...

Simon and I will be away until Wednesday, and as soon as we get back we will fix every thing.. At this very minute, while I have raced home to pick up more clothes and drop of washing, Simon is busy trying to work out what went wrong? and how he can fix it.. And he is doing this the old fashioned way - pen and paper Smile lol

We are staying at my mothers new beach shack, about 45 minutes from home.. AND there is no phone or internet connection - hence my quick note to you now Smile

We are very sorry if this has caused any inconvenience, we will endeavour to get things on track as soon as we return home!

I hope this email sees you and your family having a wonderful Easter break...

Talk Soon

Michelle

P.S. If you are having trouble logging in etc. please know that you will be MY priority on Wednesday/Thursday this week Smile

P.P.P.S. I have heaps of new content, including our fair audios and videos to put up this week - so the end of the week will be huge.. And I'll probably need another holiday Smile lol

Happy Easter!!! - We are away for a few days Smile | Print |

Hi Every one..

I hope this Easter season sees you safe and well!!

Simon and I will be away for a few days, without internet access, so please be patient, we will get to you as soon as we return Smile

Happy Easter - and don't eat too much chocolate, enjoy the time with your family instead!

Warmly
Michelle

Where have we been? | Print |

Hi everyone..

I am really sorry about being missing in action for the last few days..

Simon and I had a great time at the Craft and Quilt fair; we have a couple of videos and audio for you Smile
Half an hour after we returned from the fair we had to jump in the car and go to my mum's new holiday house (she only got the keys on Wednesday). We needed to be there this weekend to build a fence (for our dog) so that we could stay there a few days over our Easter holidays.. And there was no internet at the shack!

I am sorry I had hoped to have a little time to catchup with you all and help those with log in problems, but I just ran out of time Smile

It is 11.30pm here on Sunday night and I have to go to bed - I will get to all your emails tomorrow Smile

The karma competition is over too, so I will reveal the winner tomorrow Smile AND start adding new content, AND the block a day will start in a couple of days... BUSY BUSY Smile

Cheers
Michelle
P.S. We are hoping to have the phone on at the shack over Easter so we can stay there a little longer and keep up with you all Smile

A Creative Quilting Update | Print |

Hi Quilting Friends...

I hope every thing is fantastic in your part of the

world Smile

This is a quick update to let you know what is going

on at the Creative Quilting Club..

You may not of noticed but the site was down for a

little bit on Tuesday.. If it hadn't been for Kathy

we would have gone to bed not knowing and the site

would have been down for a long time.. So to thank

Kathy, Simon and I decided to give her a life time

upgrade to platinum.. So well done Kathy, thank you

for keeping us in the loop!

Tomorrow we are off to the Australian Craft and Quilt

Fair in Hobart.. We are planning to take the movie

camera to see if we can capture the mood of the event

for you and maybe even do an interview or two... So

keep an eye out for that next week..

The other thing that is keeping me busy is gathering

and typing up blocks for the block of the day emails..

This has turned out to be a little more work than I had

expected, so it may be early next week when I start

sending them (I would like to have a week or two's worth

up my sleeve before I start)..

Which brings me to another point.. If you received

an email from me, that looks a lot like this blog post you
are already on my email list and don't have to do any thing..
I can't count the number of people contacting me to get onto
the "block a day" list.. I am very excited that so many of you
are looking forward to this starting Smile

One last thing, currently the Creative Quilting club is

basically fr*e, however we are discussing bringing in a

monthly subscription.. Please don't panic, what ever

level you are when we start our monthly subscriptions,

will be the level you are entitled to for life, with NO

subscriptions.. Therefore if you are one of the lucky

platinums, you will have that membership level for life

while new people will have to pay a monthly subscription.

As you can tell we are still trying to work out the

details, we would appreciate any advice or thoughts about

how a subscription might work at the Creative Quilting

Club ? Smile

We will give you a few weeks warning before we adopt this

new format, so if you want to upgrade to a life time

platinum you will have plenty of time to do so.. You can

go check out all the goodies you get as a platinum by

logging in and heading to the 'upgrade now' section..

I had better go and get ready for tomorrow..

Talk soon

Michelle

P.S. If you haven't been into the gallery for a

while now would be a great time as there are heaps

of photos in there and Simon has created a video

showing you how to use the gallery..

Many changes resulted from the feedback of millions of users who tested prerelease versions of the new browser. The most compelling reason to upgrade is the improved security. The Internet of today is not the Internet of five years ago. There are dangers that simply didn't exist back in 2001, when Internet Explorer 6 was released to the world. Internet Explorer 7 makes surfing the web fundamentally safer by offering greater protection against viruses, spyware, and other online risks.
